The richness of the whisky is balanced with a woody, spicy dryness that would keep even the Night’s Watch warm in winter. On the nose this Oban has aromas of hay and tangy savoury aromas, but calms into cocoa and Morello cherries. On the palate there are instant flavours of dark berry pie and liquorice.
